The grain harvest in Russia in 2017 will be high, but likely not beat the record set last year.
The head of the Russian grain Union noted that by the end of this year, we expect the grain harvest in the country will amount to about 110 million tons. However, this figure will largely depend on how you will survive the winter crops.
According to Arkady Zlochevsky, the record harvest in 2016 has achieved exactly due to winter – they survived almost 100% planted areas. The head of the Russian grain Union said that this year is unlikely such luck.
