The government of India once again decided to raise duties on imported vegetable oil, according to GGN Research

In particular, the tariff for supply of crude palm oil was increased from 30.9% to 33% of palm olein – from 41.2% to 44%, crude sunflower and rapeseed oils – from 25.75% to 27.5%.
However, the most significantly increased the duties for imports of cottonseed oil: crude - from 12.5% to 30%, revised from 20 to 35%.
