In Russia the week (Feb 5-12) in all regions of the country there the growth of prices for all crops. Prices depending on the Federal district increased from 0.1% to 3.5%, announced the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation.

In the Asian part of the country, the exception was the wheat of the 3rd class, the price of which fell by 0.1%, and food rye, the price of which remained stable.

Grain exports in the current agricultural 2017/2018 year amounted to 31 million 427 thousand tons, which is 36.1% higher than the same period last season (23 million 088 thousand tons).

The volume of wheat exports for the season totaled 24 million 514 thousand tons (+36.7 per cent over the same period of the 2016/17 season), barley — 3 million 869 thousand tons (1.9 times more), corn — 2 million 823 thousand tons (down 5.7%).

Wholesale price top grade wheat according to the 5 Feb was 13 480 thousand rubles per ton. During the week the price decreased by 0.4% since the beginning of 2018 — 0.3%.

The wholesale price of rye flour amounted to 9 thousand 900 rubles per ton. Price per week rose 1.5% since the beginning of the year — by 1.5%.

December 1, 2017, a loaf of bread from wheat flour average rose 0.3%, according to 5 February 2018 cost 46 rubles 10 kopecks. The price of bread from rye-wheat flour increased by 0.2%, the price rose to 45 rubles 66 kopecks.

In agricultural, procurement and processing organizations (excluding small forms) in Russia prepared to 52.6 million tons, 7.2 million tons (+15,8%) more than December 1, 2016.

As reported REGNUM in 2017 in Russia harvested a record grain crop of about 140 million tons. As wheat prices fell below cost price, many expected the price tag on the final product is also reduced.
