- in the Central Federal district, 8.4 million hectares or which is 87.4% of the forecast (2017 8.5 million hectares).
- in the Volga Federal district – 14.2 million hectares or 89.9 percent of the forecast (2017 – 14.0 m ha);
in the North-West Federal district – 314,8 thousand ha or 59.3% of the forecast (2017 – 280,3 thousand hectares).
- in the Ural Federal district – 2.8 million hectares, or 63.2% of the forecast (2017 – 3.4 million hectares).
in the far Eastern Federal district – 1.2 mln ha, or 61.8% of the forecast (2017 to 1.1 million hectares).
- in the Siberian Federal district 5.5 million ha or 42,5% of the forecast (2017 to 9.5 million hectares).

Spring grain and leguminous crops in the whole country was sown 22.5 million hectares or 72.6% of the forecast (2017 26.6 million hectares). Of them, spring wheat planted on an area of 8.3 million ha, or 64.4% of the forecast (2017 11.4 million ha). Spring barley was sown on the area of 6.5 million hectares or 85% of the forecast (2017 6.7 million hectares). Corn for grain was sown on an area of 2.5 million hectares, or 81.9% of the forecast (2017 to 2.8 million hectares). Rice was sown on the area of 155.5 hectares or 84.4% of the forecast (2017 – 166.0 thousand hectares).

Sugar beet (factory) planted on an area of 1.1 million ha, or 102,9% of the forecast (2017 to 1.2 million hectares).

Flax was sown on the area of 32.1 hectares or 72.6% of the forecast (2017 – 30.1 thousand ha).

Sunflower planted on an area of 7.1 million ha or 93.8 per cent of the forecast (2017 6.7 million hectares).

Soybeans planted on an area of 2.1 million ha or 76,1% of the forecast (2017, 1.9 million hectares).

Winter rape sown on the area of 1.1 million hectares or 101.1% of the forecast (2017 – 778,4 thousand hectares).

In the agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) potatoes planted on the area of 234,3 thousand hectares or 76,6% of the forecast (2017 – 233,4 thousand hectares). Vegetables planted on an area of 131,1 thousand hectares or 74.6% of the forecast (2017 – 123,6 thousand hectares).
