Russians started to consume more fish - Medvedev
The prime minister of the Russian Federation held a meeting in Magadan, where he reported about growth of fish consumption in the Russian Federation and increase in fish exports.

- Last year average per capita consumption of fish in the Russian Federation made 22 kg, that is 2 kg more, than in 2009, reported head of the Russian Federation government Dmitry Medvedev at the meeting in Magadan.
- According to the Russian prime minister, the standard of living is defined mostly by quality of consumed food, where fish plays an important role.
- Also Medvedev reported that in recent years exports of fish and seafood, according to Rosstat, grew by 37%. The Russian Federation delivers fish basically to the APEC countries, and almost all import goes to the European part of the country.
