Alexei Ulyukayev supported the zeroing of export duties for wheat

Earlier intention to abolish the export duty on grain in the country, said the head of the Department for regulation of agricultural markets Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Volik.

 

"I support (zero duty - ed.) because we have a very good chance of being the biggest export country in the world. We can quite consistently sell more than 30 million tons of grain," — said Alexei Ulyukayev on Monday.



Russia to stabilize the situation on the domestic grain market from 1 February 2015 introduced export duty on wheat. Her formula was changed several times. The current fee is valid from 1 October last year and is 50% of the customs value minus 6,5 thousand rubles per ton, but not less than 10 rubles per ton. Market participants and companies-exporters have repeatedly called for the abolition of the duty.
