Dmitry Medvedev is concerned about the problem of distribution in Russia of African swine fever and considers it necessary to take additional measures to combat this disease.

"Problems in animal husbandry, of course, enough there are problems that we all together have to fight a very serious threat to the industry remains the African plague of pigs, other especially dangerous diseases", — stated the Prime Minister at a meeting with heads of domestic livestock enterprises.

According to the head of the Cabinet, "it is obvious that the regions need to improve the efficiency of prevention of occurrence and spread of such diseases."
