"Thanks to the financing of manufacturers of agricultural machinery in 2017 in the amount of 13.7 billion farmers will be able to purchase on favorable terms in 2017, more than 20 thousand units of modern agricultural machinery, and it is almost 2 times more than in 2016", — quotes the words of D. Manturov, the press service.

The measures of state support allow the Russian plants year after year to increase the output demanded by the farmers of agricultural machinery.

"The data we received in the first quarter of 2017, confirm implementation of these plans: the growth of production of tractors was 50%, combine harvesters – more than 30% compared with the first quarter last year", — said the head of Ministry of industry and trade.

From 2013 to 2016, the share of domestic equipment market increased from 26% to 54% and by 2030 it will increase to 80%, said D. Manturov.

Earlier, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the final meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of agriculture that part of agricultural machinery in Russia has been in operation for over 10 years and it needs to be changed.
