It is expected to strengthen the interaction between the NSA and the Republic popular, especially in the development of joint programmes and products of insurance and reinsurance of agricultural risks in the exchange of methodological and practical experience, preparation of proposals on amending the legislative and normative base, as well as in other areas of development of agricultural insurance in Russia. The cooperation is aimed, in particular, on the development and approval of optimal forms of joint participation in shaping the standards and conditions of insurance of agricultural risks.

"Experience the world's largest agricultural markets shows that public reinsurance can play an important role in stabilizing and strengthening the system of subsidized agricultural insurance,– says the President of the NRA of the Roots of biggov. – Reducing the risk burden on the non-achieved by facilitating their access to reinsurance capacities, allows to improve insurance protection for farmers, to make it more reliable and attractive cost. In Russia, this cooperation remains to be established: state-owned reinsurance company has been created in our country in 2016 – the same year when for the first time there was a transition to a uniform, nationwide system of agricultural insurance with state support".

In the medium term in the insurance system selkhozizdat with state support in Russia is expected a number of changes, – said the Roots of biggov. - First of all, they are connected with a legislative initiative on improving the basic agricultural insurance law No. 260-FZ, changes are now practically agreed in the relevant departments and the legislature. This bill proposes the extension of insurance protection options available on the conditions of state support for participants of plant industry. We also discuss the Advisory report of the Bank of Russia on the state and prospects of development of agricultural insurance, one of the recommendations which - increase system flexibility by developing and incorporating additional specialized insurance programs on terms of state support. "Proposals and initiatives demonstrate the interest of various parties in the modernization and strengthening of system of agricultural insurance", – said the President of the NSA.

From 1 January 2016 at the market of agricultural insurance with state support is a single national Association, the national Union of agricultural insurers. Insurance companies, who are members of the NSA, from 1 January 2016 are not eligible to enter into contracts of insurance with state support. The creation of a centralized system of agricultural insurance in the Russian Federation is provided by Federal law 22.12.2014 No. 424-FZ on amendments to the Law "On state support in agricultural insurance..." №260-FZ.
