"The Ministry of agriculture, the Ministry of Finance to submit draft acts of the government on the allocation of 7 billion rubles from the reserve Fund of the government on realisation of separate measures of the state program of development of agriculture and regulation of markets of raw materials and food for 2013-2020, including 5 billion rubles for the provision of subsidies to legal bodies on compensation of direct costs incurred for the creation and modernization of agro-industrial complex", — stated in the instructions.

In addition, ministries were instructed to ensure the preservation of the volume of state support of agriculture not below its level in 2017, including the size of subsidies to the regions, aimed at improving productivity in dairy farming, on the compensation of part of expenses of agricultural producers for payment of insurance premiums accrued under the contracts of agricultural insurance in the field of crops or livestock, and subsidies to manufacturers of agricultural machinery.

Medvedev also instructed the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of agriculture and Ministry of economic development in the preparation of draft amendments to the Federal law "On the Federal budget for 2018 and the planning period of 2019 and 2020" to provide for additional allocation of Federal budget funds in the amount of 30 billion rubles for the implementation in 2018 of the activities of the program of development of agriculture and regulation of markets of agricultural products, raw materials and food for 2013-2020.

Earlier in February, the head of the Ministry Alexander Tkachev said that Medvedev instructed to consider allocation of additional funding for the development of agriculture in 2018, the amount of funds can be 10-30 billion rubles.
