The rate in the "Plato" in 2018 will not change, said the first Deputy Minister of transport of the Russian Federation Evgenie Dietrich reporters on Tuesday.

"Changes of government decisions on the rate of "Plato" in 2018 not planned",- he said.

As previously reported, in October 2017, the Russian presidential aide Igor Levitin said that the proposal of tariff indexation in the "Plato" for 2018 was discussed, but decisions had not been made.

Initially when you run the "Plato" the tariff was planned to establish at the level of 3.73 rubles per 1 km and to introduce penalties for non-payment up to 1 million rubles, but after the mass protests of truckers and cases of business introduced the so-called preferential tariff - 1.53 rubles per 1 km. it was Assumed that from 15 April 2017, the rate will be raised to 3.06 rubles per 1 km, but later the decision was reversed and the rate rose to 1.91 rubles per kilometer.
