On the state border of the Russian Federation in the international checkpoint "Upper Lars" — has been detained more than six tons of vegetables from Armenia.
"7 March 2018 when conducting quarantine phytosanitary control at the state border of the Russian Federation in the international checkpoint "Upper Lars" official office of Rosselkhoznadzor for Kabardino-Balkar Republic and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania detained the car with different batches of regulated products: fresh tomatoes in the amount of 4.9 tons, eggplant and fresh — 0,245 tons and bell pepper to 1.24 tons, not mentioned in accompanying documents.
The packaging was marked that contains information about the name of the product, its country of origin, exporter and/or re-exporter, as required by the "common quarantine phytosanitary requirements to regulated products and quarantine objects of the customs border and customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union", — stated in the message on the Rosselkhoznadzor site.
Meanwhile, as transfers TV channel "Russia", the production tried to import from the territory of Armenia.
"Declared in the car were apples and fresh products, but the apples were the product. Since it did not have any documentation on the product itself on the packaging, there was no labeling according to uniform sanitary requirements of the Customs Union. Therefore production, as impersonal, pursuant to the presidential decree number 391 was destroyed," — said Valery Gagiev, head of Department of supervision in the field of plant quarantine, seed and grain quality of the Rosselkhoznadzor administration for the CBD and RSO-Alania.
At the city landfill under the treads of a bulldozer was 245 pounds of eggplant, over 1200 pounds of pepper, and nearly five tons of tomatoes.
