Agreements were reached during the largest international agricultural exhibition in Houston, which was completed recently. In arsp noted that during the exhibition the representatives of foreign professional circles showed great interest in Russian agriculture.

"Special attention to the prospects for increasing cooperation with Russia drew representatives of the Department of agriculture of Texas and Governor Greg Abbott," — said Pisarev.

"Following a series of negotiations conducted by the government of arsp with the participation of the Consulate General of Russia in Houston, the two sides agreed to intensify cooperation between Russian and American sister cities, joint activities, capacity-delegatory exchange and professional cooperation between Russian regions and the southern United States. Arsp has received specific proposals from representatives of Texas about the beginning of practical work on studying of possibilities of joint agricultural activity in the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region", — said the Agency interlocutor.

Also, the organizers invited the Director of arsp Sergei Arina to participate in future annual events with the expectation of extension of the Russian exposition.

THE HOUSTON RODEO

Exhibition Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, known as the "Houston Rodeo" is one of the key world events among professionals. Every year at the site of the Rodeo is going over two million people — as ordinary visitors, and representatives from the agricultural community from different regions of the world that use the possibilities exhibitions for new contracts and the expansion of trade and investment opportunities.

This year, the Russian Association of regional agricultural producers (arsp) at the invitation of the Department of agriculture of the state of Texas and with the support of the Consulate General of Russia in Houston had the opportunity to participate in the events.

Arsp — is an Association aimed at support of agricultural producers of the regions of Russia, primarily small farms, and promotion of their products in domestic markets, in countries near and far abroad.
