The specialists of Rosselkhoznadzor jointly with representatives of the FSB and the Federal customs service detained on the Russian-Belarusian border two vehicles, EN route from the Republic of Belarus, which under the form of a mushroom mycelium transported Turkish tomatoes and mushrooms of unknown origin. This is stated in the message Rosselkhoznadzor.

"When conducting quarantine inspection of goods, packing and marking are installed in the cargo compartments of motor vehicles were tomatoes origin of the Republic of Turkey, in the amount of 17.29 tonnes, and mushrooms unknown origin, in the amount of 1.52 tons", - reports the Agency.

Phytosanitary certificates for the above products has not been submitted. Party specified regulated products with a total weight of 18,81 tons will be destroyed.

Earlier Rosselkhoznadzor reported on the possibility of a ban on deliveries from Belarus of tomatoes because of a serious increase in the volume of deliveries of "sanctions" products (including tomatoes) from the territory of that state. In connection with the previously identified supply through the territory of Belarus "sanctions" products accompanied by falsified phytosanitary certificates of the countries of Africa, the Rosselkhoznadzor was forced to ban the export of products from 33 countries through Belarus.
