More than $100 million signed contracts with China Belarus for the supply of dairy products, said the Minister of agriculture and food of Belarus Leonid Zayats reported on 6 April BelTA.

According to the report, in 2018, two Belarusian plant has signed contracts with Chinese firms for the supply of milk: "Velez-Mit" and Mogilev meat packing plant. Also, Belarus has already sent to China the first batch of meat. In April Belarus will arrive experts from China who certify the Belarusian poultry farms.

To work together, both countries created a joint venture in Shanghai. Belarus will send their dairy products to Shanghai, and from there the products will be delivered in China.

"China consumes millions of tonnes of the products that we are able to produce," said Hare.

We remind that Minsk and Beijing are cooperating not only on issues of the dairy market. Earlier Belarus has opened a center of traditional Chinese medicine, the organizer of the event became the authorities of the Chinese province of Gansu.
