"Rosselkhoznadzor noted a significant increase in attempted illegal importation of tomatoes from non-certified for export to the Russian Federation of the enterprises of Turkey. So, for three months of 2018 prevented the import of 23 parties of the Turkish tomatoes shipped from the Republic of Belarus with fake phytosanitary accompanying documents", — stated in the message.

According to the service, destroyed 454 tons of illegally imported tomatoes.

It is also noted that the illegal trafficking of plant products in the domestic market can have a significant negative impact on the development of legal business.
