The market of meat and meat products. In January-March 2018 the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) in farms of all categories amounted to 3.4 million tons and in comparison with the same period in 2017, increased by 5.0%.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 26.04.2018 of beef half-carcasses amounted to 203,70 thousand RUB/t (-0.4 per cent for the week -0,9% by the end of December 2017), pork half – carcasses- 150,07 thousand RUB/t (+0,2% over the week to 0.0% by the end of December 2017), poultry – 93,99 thousand RUB/ton (-0,2% over the week
To -2.9% by the end of December 2017).

The market of milk and dairy products. In January-March 2018 the gross milk yield in farms of all categories amounted to 6.6 million tons and has increased relative to the level of 2017 by 2.2%, in the agricultural sector to the gross milk yield increased by 4.6% to 3.9 million tonnes.

According to operational data departmental weekly monitoring the price situation on food market average price of agricultural producers of the Russian Federation on 19.04.2018 on raw milk made up 22.19 RUB/kg (-0,27 RUB/kg per week, -2,54 RUB/kg by the end of December 2017).

The sugar market. In January-March 2018 the production of sugar declined by 5.2% compared to the same period in 2017 and built 430,4 thousand tons.

As of April 25, 2018 wholesale price of sugar in the SFD for the week has not changed (+21,6 % since the beginning of the current year) and amounted to 30,98 rbl./kg.
