The agreement was reached following the meeting, representatives of Rosstandart with representatives of the Administration for standardization of China (SAC).

"At the end of the meeting the parties agreed to establish a separate subgroup for cooperation in the field of agriculture, forestry and food products in the composition of the permanent Russian-Chinese working group on standardization, Metrology, certification and quality control", — stated in the message.

The Ministry noted that the sides discussed the possibility of the spread of the GOST standards in this area for use on the territory of the PRC, as well as joint initiatives to develop standards in the field of food products in the framework of the International organization for standardization.
