The Federal service for supervision of consumer rights protection and human welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) for the first quarter of 2018 removed from sale more than 56 tons of fruits and vegetables that did not meet mandatory requirements. As reported in the press release of the Russian authorities, around 13 tonnes of these products imported.

"For the first quarter of 2018 by CPS from sale removed more than 56 tons of fruits and vegetables, not to meet the mandatory requirements, including 12,6 tonnes of imported products," - said in a statement on the Agency's website.

It is noted that for the period for the sanitary-chemical, microbiological and physico-chemical parameters was investigated about 19 thousand samples of fruits and vegetables.

In Rospotrebnadzor recalled that buying vegetables and fruit should be in locations sanctioned trade, where monitoring of the quality and safety of products, and when buying you should pay attention to the appearance of fruit and vegetables on the conditions of their storage.
