The growth in gasoline prices will not lead to a radical rise in the cost of products.
Rising prices for gasoline and diesel fuel will not lead to dramatic spikes in food prices, but may lead to an increase in inflationary expectations, says Director General of the analytical Agency InfoLine Ivan Fedyakov.

Rosstat reported on Wednesday that the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel in Russia for a week from 22 to 28 may grew by 1.9%. According to Rosstat, in the past two weeks, average retail prices for gasoline in Russia broke the mark of 41 and 42 of the ruble. As explained by experts, is largely due to the fact that the current oil prices and the ruble is more profitable for companies to supply fuel for export, not for domestic market.

"Obviously, of course, that would entail the rise in the cost of any products both consumer and industrial, because the transportation of goods, raw materials, production and transportation of finished products with the growth of cost of these activities, obviously, will entail an increase in the price of the final product," said Fedyakov RIA Novosti.

"Another issue is that the price increase is not so dramatic, not so radical, because the cost of production logistics is by various estimates within 10%. Of these 10% — fuel costs – is still tens of percent", — said the Agency interlocutor.

In his opinion, in this case to speak about any serious round of price increases, of course, is not necessary. "Now inflation is so driven framework that some growth is possible, it is not a problem, it is quite natural," he says.

"It is important to note some psychological pressure on the consumer, who sees commodities rise in price, will be more loyal to the rise in price of goods in other groups, what is called inflation expectations, they will increase," he concluded.
