Industrial production of milk, except for raw, in January-April 2018 amounted to 1 818,0 thousand tonnes (0.4% higher than the same period of 2017), dairy products (except cheese) – 949,9 thousand tons (2.8% less), cheese – 142,9 thousand tonnes (1.3%), cheese products – 60,4 thousand tons (2.5% more), butter – 83.5 thousand tons (4.0% higher), milk and cream dry – 35.6 thousand tons (0.6% less).
According to the FCS of Russia, the volume of imports (including countries of EEU) of the main types of dairy products in recalculation on milk in January-March 2018 declined by 21.4% and amounted to 1 338,4 thousand tons (in January-March 2017 – 1 702,4 kt).
