Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address to the participants of the forum, voiced his aide Igor Levitin at the opening ceremony, noted the need for significant expansion of comprehensive relations with Mongolia on the basis of traditional ties between the two countries and peoples.
Welcoming the forum participants, President of Mongolia Khaltmagiin Battulga noted the importance of strengthening economic relations at the present stage and emphasized the need to create conditions of state support of the enterprises, aspiring to the markets of both countries, including with the use of the Congress and exhibition capabilities.
In his response, the Minister of industry and trade of Russia Denis Manturov stated at the beginning of a new phase in bilateral economic relations and called on the representatives of the Mongolian business use participation in the forum 64 Russian companies.
Speaking further, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Mongolia Damdiny Tsogtbaatar, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Mongolia Iskanderija, Minister of food, agriculture and light industry of Mongolia Betterghanaforum, Deputy Minister of energy of Russia Kirill Molodtsov, Executive Director of Recolecta Tyupanov and other officials stressed the importance of development of bilateral economic relations and the significant increase in turnover.
Organized by "Expocentre" business mission in the framework of the "Russian-Mongolian initiative-2018" includes a series of panel discussions on key topics of bilateral cooperation, including cooperation between border areas and export oriented companies in energy, agriculture, food industry, light industry and other industries.
