The volume of Russian imports of white sugar (according to the FCS of Russia) in January - March 2018 rose by 8.3% and 70.5 thousand tons (in January-March 2017 to 65.1 kt).

The volume of Russian exports of white sugar (according to the FCS of Russia) in January-March 2018 increased by 1.5 times and amounted to 169,3 thousand tons (in January-March 2017 – 116,6 thousand tons). The main consumers are countries of Uzbekistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan. According to operational data of rail statistics, the exports of sugar in January - April 2018 increased by 10,0% and amounted to 187 thousand tons In the same period of 2017 were exported 170 thousand tons.

As 06.06.2018 wholesale price of sugar in the SFD for the week decreased by 1.8% (+34,8% since the beginning of this year) and made up of 33.68. a/kg.

Industrial producer prices on 07.06.2018 made up of sugar white beet of 31.35 RUB/kg (+0,4% over the week +of 23.5% by December 2017).
