From them larvae was discovered in the square 406,56 thousand ha, adults of the pest were recorded at 43,40 thousand ha., the larvae of grasshoppers identified on an area of almost 110 thousand hectares.

In connection with the massive spread of locusts introduced a state of emergency in four districts of Dagestan, the Nogai, the Babayurtovskiy, Tarumovskiy, and Kizlyarskiy. In the Stavropol territory a state of emergency imposed in three districts — arzgirskogo, Levokumskij and neftekumsky.
