In the suburbs can establish a zero rate of the unified agricultural tax (UAT). About it the correspondent of IA REGNUM reported in the press service of the regional Parliament on June 20.
As stated by the Chairman of the Committee of the Moscow region Duma on agrarian policy and consumer market Sergei Kerselyan ("United Russia") in Moscow region it is planned to develop a bill that will establish a zero tax rate for farmers. According to him, this measure will attract more investment to the region.
"Of course, at a zero rate, we will lose some revenues. But this measure will increase the investment attractiveness of the region" — said Sergei Kerselyan.
We will remind, in the beginning of 2018, the Russian state Duma in the third reading adopted a bill allowing regions to set their own betting accounts. A zero rate in the suburbs can be set for three tax periods starting from 1 January 2019.
"The industry remains heavily subsidized, so we came out with a proposal, the Ministry of Finance supported us in this, not to differentiate the rate depending on the activities, revenues, and set it size zero in General for all payers UAT. The shortfall in income will be a small amount — about 74 million rubles annually," — said Bogachenko.
As reported IA REGNUM, according to experts, the regions are unlikely to make a serious reduction in the tax rates of unified agricultural tax in view of the need to fill the local budgets.
