Chuvashstat has updated data on the industrial production indices. According to the information, for seven months industrial production increased, while in July it fell, the correspondent of IA REGNUM with reference to the document.

In January-July 2018 compared to the same period last year industrial production grew by 1.4%. Including in the manufacturing sector growth was 2.8%, the volume of mineral production decreased by 5% and energy reduction amounted to 9.3%, in water supply increase of 2.6%.

In the structure of manufacturing decline occurred in seven of the 21 industries that fall under the monitoring Department. The decline in the other manufacturing (-20,7%), in manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (-17,8%), leather (-17%) and chemical (to -8.8%) industry, in the field of repair and installation of machinery, equipment (-8,6%), clothing (-4,3%).

The largest growth was recorded in manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (+42,3%), manufacture of beverages (+29,3%), furniture industry (+15.8 per cent) and manufacture of other transport equipment (+15.1 per cent).

Note that industrial production in July 2018, compared with June fell by 8% compared to July 2017 — 0.8%.
