Total milk production on robot farms in Kaluga region grew by 120% by the end of 2017, for the period January to July 2018 mountain growth is 112%. TASS said Monday the Minister of agriculture Leonid Gromov, Kaluga oblast.

"Total milk production as the result of work 2017 at robotic farms is 38.3 thousand tons of milk, which is 6.2 thousand tons more than the corresponding period last year, an increase was 120%. Milk yield per cow at the beginning of 2018, totaled 7198 kg, which is 889 kg more than last year. Total milk production for January - July 2018 is 24.6 thousand tons of milk, which is 2.8 thousand tons more than the corresponding period last year, or the growth is 112%", - he said.

In the Kaluga farms are installing milking robots five brands: DeLaval, Fullwood, GeaFarm, Lely, SAC, preference is given to the Dutch Lely plants, which are manufactured in the Kaluga region.

In terms of milk production on robot farms is leading, OOO Kaluzhskaya Niva, which obtained 15 488 tons (+3 580 ton), 130% compared to last year, milk yield was 9047 kg. Plus 1840 kg, the second place is JSC "Krivskoe", production amounted to 3 234 tons (+297 tons), or 111% compared to last year, milk yield was 7267 kg (667 kg), in the third place, OOO "AF Khotkovo", the production of milk amounted to 2116 kg (453 kg) 128% to the level of last year.

Regional program "100 robotic dairy farms" started in 2014. For four years, was commissioned in 36 companies, which employ 128 robotic milking machines. Total funding for the program from the regional budget amounted to about 300 million rubles.

For compensation of interest rates on investment loans obtained for the construction, reconstruction and modernization of robotic farms, has been directed from the regional budget of 63.4 million rubles. According to the program of family farm development was received farms 22 grant to create robotic dairy farms in the amount of 236 million rubles from Federal and regional budgets.
