Omsk region from reserve Fund of the government of the Russian Federation has allocated 204.1 million rubles. These funds are intended to reimburse farmers for the portion of costs related to the purchase of diesel fuel for carrying out of seasonal field works. As reported IA REGNUM , August 20 in the regional government, the agreement the Governor of the region Alexander Burkov has concluded with the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation.

It is clarified that in addition to this amount, Omsk farmers will receive more 33.2 million rubles from the regional budget.

In the spring of 2018, the authorities in Omsk region have agreed on preferential selling prices for fuel for farmers for the period of sowing. To date, however, the price of summer diesel fuel, even with the discount of 500 rubles per ton is 47,55 thousand rubles. This is a quarter above the price level of the same period of 2017.

"The rising cost of diesel fuel by 27.9% led to significant increase of costs of agricultural producers to conduct field work. We had to repeatedly address this issue in the Federation. We have been heard. The Russian government has allocated additional funds for green box subsidies on fuel and oil.
