In this regard, the Deputy Minister urged foreign colleagues to assist in the resumption of supplies to Dominican Republic domestic wheat, as well as to study the issue of export of soy oil.
Special attention was paid to the problem of access for the products of the Russian livestock market of the Dominican Republic. To address this issue, the Russian side was requested to undertake the inspection of domestic livestock enterprises the representatives of the Dominican and veterinary services.
Following the meeting, Sergey Levin, and Osmar Benitez signed an interagency Memorandum in the field of agriculture, which will contribute to the development of cooperation in the field of crop, livestock, storage and processing of agricultural products, as well as training and advanced training.
