The Governor of the Penza region told Medvedev about the development of agribusiness in the region
The Governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev on Wednesday in the framework of the Russian agricultural exhibition "Golden autumn", said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on the development of the agricultural sector and identified key investment projects, reported the press service of the head region.

"The Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev has assessed the potential of agriculture of the Penza region during a tour of exhibition... Ivan Belozertsev has told to Dmitry Medvedev about the ongoing industry-major investment projects of companies "Damate", "Cherkizovo", "Rusmolco" and overall development of the industry", — stated in the message.

The Governor noted that, thanks to the Federal support measures for agriculture of the Penza region in recent years the pace of development is the leader in the Volga Federal district.

 

"Dmitry Medvedev gave a high assessment to the work of the Penza farmers, paying special attention to unusual exhibit — a Turkey made from 500 kilos of bakery products", — supplemented in the message.

The press service explained that the exposition of the Penza region presented at the exhibition "Golden autumn" 50 enterprises of agriculture and processing industry.

"Vegetables and potatoes, meat products and poultry products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, dairy products and cheeses, flowers, honey, canned food, pasta and bakery products confectionery cluster, maple syrup, fish and more attracted the attention of thousands of exhibition visitors", — concluded the press service.
