Speaking about agriculture in the region, the Governor said that this year the grain yield has fallen because of the drought, but the production of all kinds of meat, in particular chicken and pork, Chelyabinsk region continues to hold leadership in the country. According to him, next year the export of agricultural products in the region will increase.
"We have surplus food, and we understand that the main thing for investors is marketing. Export-oriented businesses have serious potential. We are already exporting cereals, pasta, vegetable oil and poultry in China and CIS countries", — said the Governor.
He added that the development of agriculture authorities annually allocate around 4 billion: $ 2 billion from the Federal budget and 2 billion from the regional budget. At the moment in the region implemented 24 investment projects with a total investment of 40 billion rubles.
