Over the last few years the dairy industry has taken a big step forward. The state program on development of agriculture and new types of support have fundamentally changed the situation in the sector, which has led to strong growth of investment in the industry. At the moment the state sets of the new tasks, and approach to the development of the dairy industry requires revision.

27 November 2018 at the Government House in Moscow region the participants of the V International agroindustrial dairy forum in the format of the business dialogue will discuss the topic: "Milk 2020-2030: what's next?"

Denis Butsaev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow region, commented on the theme of the business dialogue Forum: "the Subjects of discussion at the event will be, first of all, the priorities and constraints of development of the dairy industry. This year's key topics are the directions of the state support and increase of investment appeal of the dairy industry. In the matter of priorities, their alignment will determine the further development of the dairy industry. Experts and industry leaders will discuss the development of deep processing of milk, improving the quality of raw milk, facilitate existing demand and to enter new markets."

Artyom Belov, Executive Director of the National Union of milk producers (SOYUZMOLOKO), one of the speakers of the V International agricultural dairy forum, commented on the theme of the business dialogue: "There are several factors that must be considered in the new program of development of the industry. It is important to preserve part of the working mechanisms of support and regulation of the dairy industry, for example, preferential loans and reimbursement of capital expenditures to investors. Special attention should be paid to maximize the disclosure of the genetic potential of breeding livestock and the development of export relations with other countries in the long term."

In the business program of the Forum will also include subjects related to the development of the world market of dairy products, the stabilization of demand for dairy products, innovation and digitalization in the dairy industry.
