Buryat breeders in 2019 plan to increase the supply of pork in Mongolia to 200 tons per month. This despite the fact that last year there was about 500 tons. In the future pork from Buryatia may also find it on the shelves of Chinese stores.

Told about it in interview "Vostok-Teleinform" Director of the pig farm "East-Siberian" Vladimir Borovkov. According to him, the company has taken additional security measures in connection with flash of the African plague of pigs in Mongolia.

REGNUM reported earlier, on import in Buryatia and Transbaikalia at the beginning of February 2019 sausage contaminated with swine fever. As suggested in the regional Department of the Rosselkhoznadzor, dangerous products could get to Mongolia from Poland.

"In order to nullify the possibility of entering swine fever in the Republic together with vehicles, has decided to suspend the entry of Mongolian fur and yet deliver the consignment to him by our own transport," — said Director of the pig farm.

The company was also included in the information system "Cerberus", so it is a potential supplier of meat to China.

"Adding that China for the supply of meat is still closed, but if the ban is lifted, we are ready to start out the delivery. While that is only allowed to export chicken, and doing it only about 20 enterprises from all over Russia," said Borovkov.

Recall, as reported IA REGNUM, the Mongolian government had previously expressed willingness to conclude a free trade agreement with the Eurasian economic Union. According to the President of Mongolia Khaltmagiin of Battulga, it would accelerate trade integration in the region.
