Today an increasing number of wild boars infected with ASF virus. In South of Belgium were more than 700 cases. It is reported that last week howled identified 40 new cases in the forests of the province of Luxembourg. The main part found in the middle of the infection zone, and some on the North side and five on the South-Eastern edge of Belgium, near the border with France and Luxembourg.

In March, the number of identified infected carcasses are much smaller than in February. Only in February found 217 infected boars, and in March, only 83. However, this does not mean that the rate of spread of the virus is reduced.

However, hikers will again be allowed to enter the zone of infection from the sixth of April. The permit is valid with the condition that pedestrians are not to leave the path.
