In South Korea again can receive seafood from Japan's Fukushima Prefecture. It is reported by Yonhap News, citing world Trade Organization (WTO).

It is known that seafood caught in the Prefecture of Fukushima, has gone missing from the South Korean market in September 2013 because of "food diversity".

In 2015, Japan filed for South Korea in the WTO court. In the first hearing, it was agreed that measures to control the import of fish products of South Korea did not meet the sanitary and phytosanitary measures of the WTO, after which the government appealed.

However, if the decision should be made in favor of South Korea, Japanese seafood not once fall into the South Korean market. According to preliminary data, the seafood will be on the shelves only in the second half of 2020.
