Russia will begin deliveries of pork and beef in Hong Kong. On 6 may, the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor.

As specified, the Department received a formal letter from competent in matters of food safety authority of Hong Kong, containing the decision on the start of deliveries of pork, beef, and pork and beef offal from Russia.

"From the markets of South-East Asia, Hong Kong became the first place where will be the supply of pork from Russia", — stated in the message.

In Rosselkhoznadzor emphasize that the opening of the Hong Kong market was preceded by years of work with colleagues from Hong Kong, which included conducting numerous talks, training extensive multi-page materials about the system of veterinary surveillance in Russia on all stages of production, organization of inspection of the Russian plants by the competent authority of Hong Kong.
