Almost every third store and supermarket in South Korea sold chicken eggs without markings. It is reported by Yonhap News, citing the Korea National Council of Consumer Organization.
According to the survey, held from 18 to 19 may in 387 stores and supermarkets in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, only at 71.1% of the seats sold eggs with marking.
Recall that in February in South Korea has introduced a new marking of eggs, which has the following form: five digits of the manufacturer number, one digit — the environment in which the egg was obtained and the date of occurrence of the eggs to light.
It is known that in 69.7% of the shops and supermarkets of the city of Seoul and 75% of institutions in Gyeonggi province sells eggs with the new label.
