28 and 29 may in the Tomsk region with a working visit visited the delegation of the Consulate General of Hungary in Yekaterinburg, headed by Consul General Sergey Syuch.
On the final day of his visit Sergey Syuch met with the Deputy Governor of Tomsk region for agro-industrial policy and nature management Andrey Carrom and heads of sectoral agencies, discussed issues on possible cooperation in the field of agriculture, tourism and culture.
Sergey Syuch noted that relations between Russia and Hungary have been developing dynamically, with a focus on direct contacts, and agriculture is one of the most interesting areas for mutual cooperation. The Hungarians are willing to expand the supply to our region of cattle and poultry, and to establish the implementation of equipment and technologies for development in the Tomsk region of plant, dairy and meat production.
Today Tomsk oblast is interested in the Hungarian production of feed crops and the seed supply, food processing, borrowing of Hungarian experience in the fishery and hotovosti, the development of horticulture.
In particular, the region's Vice-Governor Andrey Knorr, interesting Hungarian experience of modernization of the fish factory and the cultivation of commercial fish production technology of semi-finished and finished meat and fish products. Also, the residents are willing to explore various models of cooperative farms in Hungary and the experience of organization of hunting farms and hunting business as a special form of tourism.
During the meeting the sides agreed to develop Russian-Hungarian cooperation, Sergey Syuch invited the residents on FeHoVa – the International exhibition of hunting, fishing and weapons, which will be held in Budapest in 2020.
