On 3 June the Minister of agriculture Dmitry Patrushev held a conference on development of production and exports of agricultural products of the Siberian Federal district.

The event was attended by Plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal district Sergey meniailo and the head of the constituent entities of Siberian Federal district and heads of regional agricultural administrative bodies.

As the Minister noted, similar meetings have already been held with almost all Federal districts of the Russian Federation and demonstrated the willingness of the regions to work to increase exports of agricultural products and food. A significant contribution to the overall task should make the Siberian Federal district.

"By 2024, the district will increase the export of agricultural products more than 2 times: from the current $ 917 million to nearly $ 2 billion. To date, the exports of the district is 4% of Russia's total. By 2024, that share is expected to increase to 5%", - said Dmitry Patrushev.

It provides in particular that the Altai Krai and Novosibirsk oblast by 2024, will increase exports by approximately 2.5 times at the expense of grain, prepared foods, meat and dairy products.

Kemerovo region, which is the leader of the County's exports of agricultural products, increase its volume almost two times – up to 511 million dollars. The growth will provide a ready-made food and other products.

To achieve the targets the district must increase the gross grain harvest – up to 17.7 million tons, oilseeds – up to 2.8 million tons, increase the production of livestock and poultry up to 1.6 million tons, and milk to 4.6 million tons.

An important role in this work is played by measures of state support.

According to Dmitry Patrushev, in the Siberian Federal district recorded the highest level bringing to the recipient district occupies the first place in Russia according to this indicator, and Siberian farmers have already received 49.6% of the planned funds.

Also, the agriculture Minister urged the County to consider the contribution that can make to the total volume of export of small agricultural enterprises and farms.

The Ministry of agriculture of Russia pays considerable attention to development of small forms of managing. General support at the Federal and regional level, they can take a worthy place among the Russian exporters of agricultural products.
