She noted that exports of agricultural products in the reporting period took 42.9% of the structure of the General exports from Ukraine. According to Trofimovoj, the largest importers of Ukrainian agricultural products were China supplied products for a total amount of 794,9 million dollars, India - 740,9 million dollars, Egypt - 737,4 million dollars, Turkey - 683,7 million dollars and the Netherlands - 640,8 million. In addition, major deliveries were carried out in Spain, Italy, Poland, Belarus and Germany.

Trofimova noted that the main export items during the reporting period were: corn, which were exported for $ 3 billion; oil sunflower, safflower and cotton - at $ 1.9 billion; wheat and mixture of wheat and rye - 974 million; cake and other solid wastes obtained during extraction of vegetable fats or oils - to 479,2 million; soybeans - to 431,9 million; meat and offal of poultry - 255,9 million dollars, cake and other waste soybean oil - 141,2 million dollars; oil, soybean - 111 million; cigars, cigarillos and cigarettes with tobacco or its substitutes - in to 107.7 million; barley - 77.9 million dollars.

The Minister added that the import of agricultural products during the five months of this year increased by 8.5% compared to the same period last year and totaled $ 2.5 billion.

As reported the UNIAN, the foreign trade turnover of agricultural products of Ukraine in 2018 increased by 1.7 billion to $ 24.3 billion dollars. In particular, Ukrainian exports of agricultural products totaled a record high of 18.8 billion dollars, and import - $ 5.5 billion.
