This was written by the Chairman of the Association of owners of cars Alexander Krivoruchko on his page in Facebook.

"I have two news, one good, the other bad. Start with the good. In Ukraine is projected to be a record grain harvest. And the news is bad – more likely the harvest will be nothing to export. In the season of grain harvest is the bottleneck in logistics – ports of Odessa and the railway. Due to seasonal growth of construction cargoes (rubble), growth, export and transit of iron ore (iron-ore raw materials), as well as the increase in marine supply of coal for energy and steel companies of Ukraine are expected peak load on the deepwater ports of the Black sea and the infrastructure of the Odessa railway", – stated in the message, writes Columnist.

Krivoruchko said that the situation could have negative consequences for Ukraine's economy, therefore, urged the authorities to adopt measures to prevent transport collapse.

He also reminded of "Ukrzaliznytsya", it is a government monopoly designed to protect the interests of economy of Ukraine.

"And the railway infrastructure should be primarily to meet domestic needs – that Ukrainian carriers. This time. And two, the collapse must be prevented. Without a fundamental review of approach to planning internal and transit (first, domestic and export, as a residual transit) shippers in the near future once again faced with congestion on the approaches to ports, which will lead to a drop in freight turnover and shortages", concluded Krivoruchko.
