The European Commission lowered its forecast of production of soft wheat and barley in the EU
The European Commission on Thursday downgraded its production forecast of soft wheat in EU countries in the 2019/20 season with 142,4 million tons June forecast to 141,3 million tons. However, this is still 9.7% more production last season. The Agency said Grain Online, citing Reuters news Agency.

The production forecast for rape decreased from 18.7 million tonnes to 18 million tonnes. Import forecast increased from 4.5 million tons to 5 million tons.
