"The joint project envisages that the Ministry of agriculture of the Republic and the NSA will take control of all stages of insurance of winter crops – from developing specific proposals for farmers and purchasing insurance protection to postdosing support already insured farms, – said the President of the NRA of the Roots of biggov. – On the website of the Ministry of agriculture of the Udmurt Republic in the highlighted section will be a detailed information for farmers wishing to enter into a contract of insurance on conditions of state support. In particular, will be given special instructions-instructions with detailed algorithm of actions of the farmer and the insurer in settlement of the insured event, which has been approved in the current year, the ad hoc working group of the Ministry of agriculture, Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Russia and the NSA".

The events of the festival on August 9 the delegation of NSA reported the use of insurance as a tool for achieving financial stability of agricultural business and introduced the farmers with practical aspects of its application. The discussion of these topics took place at the round table devoted to the tools of agricultural development in the Udmurt Republic. The round table was attended by at least 60 farmers in the Republic.

Risk insurance of crop production in the Udmurt Republic, currently not developed, while livestock farms use insurance options: the number of insured in the conditions of state support of livestock (thousand heads 164) Republic in 2018 came in second place in the Volga Federal district. From March 1, 2019 to the Law "On state support in agricultural insurance..." №260-FZ introduced changes aimed at increasing flexibility of conditions of crop insurance for farmers.
