The forum was held in Nur-Sultan and gathered about 1000 participants, including heads of the leading Kazakhstan and foreign machine-building enterprises, representatives of Central state bodies, development institutions, industry associations and large consumers of engineering products.

The development of cooperation between Russia and the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of supply and production of agricultural machinery was devoted to a panel session "Problems of agricultural engineering and ways of their solution".

Alla Elizarova said that Russian plants for 7 months of 2019 put to Kazakhstan of agricultural machinery totaling over $ 67.5 million dollars. An important step for the development of agricultural machinery and agro-industrial complex of the Republic was the localization of production of combine harvesters and agricultural tractors.

Rostselmash in 2013, opened in Kostanai Assembly production of combine harvesters VECTOR, and the St. Petersburg tractor plant and Agromashholding in 2019 in the same city started implementing the project for the production of agricultural tractors.

For further cooperation in this area is required to implement measures that promote deepening cooperation and expanding the range of production.

It is necessary in particular to align the conditions for granting subsidies for purchasing agricultural machinery manufacturing enterprises from the countries of the EEU and the models released in Asia, Europe, America. Speaking about the effective mechanisms of state support, which operate in Russia, Alla Elizarova gave the example of a subsidy program of discounts on the purchase of Russian agricultural machinery in the framework of government resolution No. 1432. This mechanism has allowed just 6 years to make a significant breakthrough in the development of the Russian agricultural mechanical engineering.

According to the results of sectional meetings the Kazakh side expressed interest in implementation of new joint projects and to increase the supply of agricultural machinery from Russia.
