According to the latest observations, on the most part of territory of Belarus of the upper 10-cm layer of the soil is moderately moist. However, in many regions of Brest, in the South of Grodno region remains weak hydration. According to weather stations in Brest, Drahichyn and Bragin, at a depth of 10 cm the soil remains dry, which complicates the autumn tillage and the completion of sowing of winter crops, reports IA BelTA.

"The duration of the period "sowing-seedlings" grew to a half or two weeks. Winter crops sown in early September in areas where observed abundance of soil moisture, germinate. At the earliest sowing there was a third list", - told in Belhydromet.

In the coming days, because the persistence of the low-temperature regime in most parts of the country agrometeorological situation will not change significantly. Dry weather will help to maintain a good pace of harvesting. "However, because of the threat of frost should not be left without shelter in the fields dug agricultural products. Low temperatures damaged the corn intended for silage should be harvested in the first place," - noted agrometeorology
