According to Kirill Levin, while on the most part of territory of Russia the potential of import substitution is close to full implementation, in the Urals remains the dissatisfaction of domestic demand on a number of basic directions. For the prediction were studied the current demand and ongoing investment projects in agriculture of the East-Siberian economic region, involving the start-up of production capacity through 2021.

Special attention is given greenhouse vegetable production that are relevant in the harsh climate. Assessment of Rosselkhozbank, in the East Siberian economic region there is the potential run production for broiler meat with a volume of 109 thousand tons, pork – 108 thousand tons, Turkey – 15 thousand tons, molecularly – 27 thousand tons, and greenhouse vegetable production – 23 thousand tons for tomatoes and 28 thousand tons of cucumbers.
