Just this year, for the modernization of the veterinary service of the region will receive 20 million rubles. The money will go to repairs and the purchase of vehicles to 20 cities and districts. New vehicles will deliver specialists and equipment in place to carry out veterinary activities.

As noted by Andrew Box, Kuban state veterinary service monitors the safety of animal products, including at fairs and markets. Another key aim is to stop the unauthorized importation into the territory of such products and infected farm animals, reports a press-service of administration of Krasnodar region.

This is particularly important as to strengthen farming in the region, and for the development of the export potential of the products of this industry. Our importing countries impose stringent requirements are justified in relation to the safety of imported products, and the products must be fully in harmony with them, – stressed the Deputy Governor.

As reported by "Kuban news", every year in the Kuban launched a new livestock farms and pig-breeding complexes. To save them, the specialists of the state veterinary service systematically carry out activities to maintain safe epizootic situation in the region. As a result, in the region significantly reduced the incidence of farm animals.

Krasnodar Krai in the framework of the national project exported in 2019, more than 215 thousand tons of animal products. Poultry meat and offal were sent to China, Georgia, Ukraine, the Republic of Abkhazia, as well as Vietnam.

The enterprises of the region exported more than 215 thousand tons of various products of animal origin, more than 472 thousand heads of poultry and live animals, and more than 18 thousand chicken eggs.

We will remind, according to the national project "international cooperation and exports," by 2024, the region plans to increase exports of agricultural products to $ 3.8 billion or 46% to 2018.
