Fgbu "VGNKI" is referred to scientific organisations-leaders
In accordance with Rosselkhoznadzor order No. 5 of 13 Jan 2020 all-Russia state Centre of quality and standardization medicines for animals and feed (fgbi "VGNKI") assigned to the first category of scientific organizations – organizations-leaders. This category is provided section III of the Rules of assessment and monitoring of effectiveness of scientific organizations performing research, developmental and technological works of civil appointment. The rules approved by decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 8 April 2009, No. 312.

The assignment of the fgbi "VGNKI" for scientific organisations-leaders is also based on the recommendations of the Interdepartmental Commission for assessment of effectiveness of scientific organizations performing research, developmental and technological works of civil appointment (minutes dated 9 Dec 2019 n MN-P-25/MK).
The status of the scientific organisations-leaders also received two other scientific-research Institute of Russia: all-Russian center of plant quarantine (the fgbi "VNIIKR") and the Federal centre for animal health (fgbi "ARRIAH").
