The development was conducted under a grant provided by the Rostselmash company for the project, won in an educational intensive "Praetorium RSM". The participants of Praetorium were challenged to solve engineering cases by order of a global manufacturer of agricultural equipment. Part of the winning team included students supporting the University and students "Yandex.Lyceum".
The developed complex consists of several subsystems and lets you enter information about the stages of Assembly of harvesters through the web interface from smartphones and terminals, and automatically based on RFID tags that are installed on the main node processor.
– We tasked the participants Praetorium to visualize in real time the movement of products through the pipeline. This is an important issue for enterprises, but now this information is processed manually. Monitoring system based on RFID-tags (see FAQ), developed by students, allows to identify the product at all stages of Assembly of harvesters. The data are uploaded to a single server, the information is available online on the scoreboard, but also in the form of reports for the desired period of time. Thus, we monitored the production rhythm that allows time to identify a deviation from the schedule and to take appropriate measures, – said the head of Department of development of the production system Rostselmash Oleg Garaev.
Testing of the system took place on the main conveyor Rostselmash, where more than 20 types of agricultural machinery.
– I joined proektoriya while studying on the 4th course. After graduation I was invited to work in the IT Department of the company, – said the graduate of the faculty of "automation, mechatronics and control" of DSTU, chief economist of the division configuration of SAP Rostselmash Maxim Barash. Now I continue to work on the project already as an employee of the company. We have developed a visualization system of management of Assembly lines. Thanks to the visualization and control of all stages of the production process, we can quickly detect delays at various stages of Assembly, which in turn will help to optimize the work of the enterprise.
Now the young programmers developing mobile apps that will allow you to receive smartphone notifications and reports, and report problems and call the right professionals.
