The slowdown in export growth due to the reduction of subsidies in the framework of the program of compensation of cost of transportation of industrial products (with 25-27. 5% and 11-13% of the cost of production), which negatively affected the competitive advantages of domestic agricultural machinery. Also in 2019 is not implemented a mechanism to guarantee buy-back. Impact on the dynamics of export supplies and a small number of foreign exhibitions where Russian plants kompensiruet from the state budget of the costs associated with participation.

In 2019, the main directions of export supplies of steel to CIS countries and European Union, Mongolia, Africa and Canada.

The largest increase in shipments from Russia abroad in terms of quantity recorded in several main segments: exports of seeders increased by 47% to 1174 units, four-wheel drive agricultural tractors up to 18% to 367 units, harrows 14% to 575 units.

In 2019, shipments to Romania in monetary terms increased by 10 times, Slovakia – 3.1 times, in Armenia – in 2 times, in Lithuania – 62%, in Kazakhstan – by 46%, the Netherlands – 13%.

The domestic agricultural machinery manufacturers annually to improve the quality of their products, expanding the range of manufactured equipment. Agromashiny from Russia successfully compete with foreign counterparts, outperforming them in a number of the main technical characteristics. It should also be noted that the Russian equipment are more cost effective.

In order to maintain momentum and achievement of target indicators of the Strategy of export development in the sector of agricultural engineering for the period till 2025, it is necessary to return the size of the subsidy costs of transporting industrial products to 25-27. 5% of the cost of production, to provide for the year 2020 not less than 300 million rubles on a program to guarantee repurchase (Government resolution No. 1269), increasing the number of international exhibitions, the cost of which is subsidized for Russian factories from the Russian export centre.
